Green helpers needed at Bromley tow path

09 March 2010
VOLUNTEERS are needed to help clean up tow paths in east London.

Green charity Thames 21 is urging people to join in the clean up at Bow Locks on Sunday March 21.

They will be able to learn how to make recycled planters as well as bird and bat boxes at the event off Gillender Street, Bromley by Bow.

Safety clothing and equipment and lunch will be provided but people need to wear scruffy clothes.

The event runs from 9.30am to 3pm and is run in partnership with the London 2012 volunteer programme.

Places have to be booked via changingplaces@london2012.com
