West Ham should have midfielder Kieron Dyer available for the visit of Burnley this Saturday.

Dyer, who has been suffering with hamstring problems was the star of the show for the reserves on Tuesday night, scoring twice in a 5-2 win over Stokeand is set to be part of Saturday's squad.

"He looked fitter than I have seen him for a long while," said reserves boss Alex Dyer.

"It was a good performance from him."

In a career riddled with injuries, this season has seen more frustration for the 30-year-old who has only played four times for the Hammers this campaign.

There were more positives coming out of Upton Park with the news that full back Herita Ilunga has seemingly recovered from the hamstring injury which has kept him out of the Hammers' last three matches.

The former Toulouse man has been training this week and should also be in contention for a place in the starting 11.

Two players who probably won't play this weekend are defender James Tomkins and forward Alessandro Diamanti.

Tomkins injured his groin whilst on international duty for England under-21s, while Diamanti missed the trip to Hull because of a hip injury he picked up in training.
