Arsenal have handed a debut to Santi Cazorla and Lukas Podolski for their Premier League opener against Sunderland.
Olivier Giroud takes his place on the bench along with Andrey Arshavin
Arsenal: Szczesny, Jenkinson, Mertesacker, Vermaelen, Gibbs, Diaby, Arteta, Cazorla, Walcott, Gervinho, Podolski.
Substitutes: Mannone, Djourou, Coquelin, Santos, Ramsey, Arshavin, Giroud.
