Chelsea star Juan Mata believes his side can turn around the two goal deficit to Napoli at Stamford Bridge and reach the quarter finals of the Champions League.

The Blues went down 3-1 in Naples last night, extending their winless run to five, but crucially have an away goal meaning a 2-0 win would send the west Londoners through to the last eight.

“1-0 was an excellent result for us, (but) we didn’t keep it,” he said.

“Napoli is a very strong team in this stadium. They have three players who are very fast on the counter attack, Lavezzi, Cavani, Hamsik. We like to play offensively so there were lots of chances.

“Now we have the second game, we’re going to put 100% in to win it. We didn’t score [in the second half] so we have to score in London, in England. I have confidence in this team. It will not be easy but we can do it.”
