Millwall striker Shaun Batt has joined Crawley Town on a month’s loan.

The 24-year-old scored three goals in 16 league appearances for the Lions, while on loan from Peterborough in 2010.

However, since signing permanently for the Lions he missed the whole of last season because of a cruciate injury and a calf strain.

He made his return in the FA Cup games against Dagenham & Redbridge earlier in the campaign.

“I am fully fit now and ready to play football,” Batt said.

“Kenny Jackett has told me I still have a big part to play at Millwall and that is great but now I need to play a part at Crawley Town.”

Batt is behind Darius Henderson, Harry Kane and John Marquis in the Lions pecking order.
