Stevenage duo Joel Byrom and Chris Day were delighted after drawing with Tottenham in the FA Cup fifth-round and believe they can win in the replay.

Spurs had the lions share of possession but Boro had more shots on target than their illustrious opponents.

“We had a spell for 15 minutes where we got on the front foot and have a couple of chances,” Byrom told ITV.

“Tottenham are a good side but we worked really hard and we’ll try and nick something in the replay.

“We’ll go away and do our homework again for the replay.

Day felt that the homework he and his team-mates did stood them in good stead.

“It’s a tight pitch here. They kept the ball for fun in front of us. I think we’ve done our homework, Day said.

“It’ll be the first time I’ve gone down there and not had to pay. We’ll enjoy the occasion.
