Transfer news: Giovani Dos Santos is yet to speak to Andre Villas-Boas
Wantaway Tottenham midfielder Giovani Dos Santos has yet to speak to new head coach Andre Villas-Boas.
The Mexican has been at London 2012 and missed Spurs’ tour of the USA because of it but the pair have yet to even speak over the phone.
“I hope to speak to him and know what he wants,’’ adding that he wants ‘’opportunities and a lot more playing time.”
Dos Santos is full of confidence in his ability as shown during his performances for Mexico at London 2012 and said: “it’s just a question of opportunities.”
Mexico will play in a medal match after beating Senegal in the quarter finals after Dos Santos scored in the 4-2 win.
They face Japan for a place in the final.
