Branislav Ivanovic backed Chelsea’s summer signings to shine at Stamford Bridge

Chelsea star Branislav Ivanovic has backed the Blues’ new recruits to shine.

The west Londoners may have lost Didier Drogba but have invested heavily – signing Eden Hazard, Oscar, Marko Marin and Thorgan Hazard.

“There are some new players and it’s normal in football that there are changes each year in the team,” he said.

“We have to help the new players as early as possible to understand the league we are in and the way Chelsea play.

“With their individual qualities, I think they can help to improve our game also.”
