Christopher Alfred Robbins CBE

Chris, much loved son of the late Alfred and Winifred Robbins, sadly passed away on Monday 5 April. A generous, cheerful and kind person, he will be greatly missed by family, friends and colleagues. His family loved him dearly and is very proud of all his achievements as a Councillor, Leader and Mayor in Waltham Forest. Chris retained a strong affection for Bethnal Green and Hackney where he spent his childhood and formative years, even though he hadnt lived in the area since the late 60s. In line with his wishes, Chris family has requested that instead of flowers, donations be made to Haven House Hospice and Parkinsons UK.
