A banker managed to raise more than £1,000 all from the comfort of her own home.

Kim Phull, who works at the TSB Bethnal Green Branch, in Bethnal Green Road, held a Macmillan coffee morning to raise money for cancer research.

Kim prepared a selection of food for guests to enjoy ranging from traditional bakes to Indian speciality dishes.

Kim was supported on the day, Sunday October 2, by friends and family to help make the event a big success.

Kim held a further event the next day at her workplace and in total raised £1,002.93 for Macmillan.
