‘Attempted murder’ probe after vicious attack in Isle of Dogs

A man is critically injured in hospital after he was seriously assaulted near Dagmar Court and Plevna Street in the early hours of yesterday morning.

The victim, a man in his 20s, was attacked between 2am and 2.45am on Sunday and is om “a critical but stable condition,” police said.

A 31-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and is in custody at an east London police station.
