Thousands of pounds in cash has seized by police during a raid on the home of a suspected gang member in Tower Hamlets.

The money, all in £50 notes, was found inside a white envelope and cocooned in bubblewrap at the address in the E14 area.

Tower Hamlets Police upload images of their find on social networking site Twitter today.
