Police have released CCTV footage which shows a burglary suspect trying to kick in the front door of a property on the Isle of Dogs.

The man, who is of slim build and wearing a red hooded jacket, is seen next to tall iron gates before the clip switches to him attempted to gain entry to the address in Douglas Path.

He was unsuccessful but caused £90 worth of damage.

Anyone with information about the incident which happened on January 5 should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
