Man charged in connection with Shoreditch rape

A man has been charged in connection with a rape in Shoreditch on Saturday.

Nayed Hoque, 20, of Little Ilford Lane, Manor Park, was charged yesterday with two counts of rape, one count of attempted rape and one count of robbery.

All the offences relate to the same victim; a woman in her mid-20s.

He was remanded in custody to appear at Thames Magistrates’ Court today.
