PUBLISHED: 12:50 21 October 2013 | UPDATED: 13:01 21 October 2013

A white Muslim convert who wants to bring Sharia law to Britain has admitted assaulting two people during street patrols in Whitechapel.

Jordan Horner, 19, believes Osama bin Laden was a hero and has previously been jailed for assaulting a photographer.

He pleaded admitted two charges of assault and using threatening words and behaviour during the incident in the area around the East London Mosque on January 6 this year.

Horner is said to have carried out the attacks with two other Muslims, who both deny all the charges.

Horner, who changed his name to Jamal Uddin was jailed for six weeks in July this year for beating up a photographer and causing £3,000 of damage to a car in an attack in Walthamstow, east London.

He was also seen putting up posters across east London ‘banning’ alcohol.

Appearing in court via a video link from Belmarsh prison, the 23-year-old and Horner spoke only to confirm their names and enter their pleas.

MacFarlane appeared in the dock wearing traditional Muslim headwear and a white robe over a grey tracksuit.

McFarlane, of Walthamstow, denies three charges of assault occasioning actual bodily harm. The 23-year-old also denies three charges of assault and two of affray.

MacFarlane and the 23-year-old will stand trial on November 11.

Horner, also of Walthamstow, pleaded guilty to two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and two counts of using threatening words or behaviour.
