Three suspected gang members have been arrested after police seized a machete, a bottle containing acid and three face masks at an address in Tower Hamlets.

Officers stormed the property in the E1 area today where they found the items, which are suspected of being used in criminal activity.

All three have been arrested on suspicion of three different offences: an acid attack in E14, a knife point robbery in E16 and a robbery in Essex.

Tower Hamlets Police uploaded two images of their find on social media networking site Twitter.
