Two more arrests in connection with Brenton Roper killing in Bromley-by-Bow

Police investigating the murder of a father who was shot and stabbed near the doorstep of his home in Bromley-by-Bow have made two more arrests.
Brenton Roper, who has been described a loving and loyal son, dad, brother, uncle, cousin and friend, died an hour after he was attacked in Eagling Close on May 3.
Over the weekend officers arrested a 26-year-old man on suspicion of murder and suspicion of possession of cannabis.
A second man, also aged 26, was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
Both men have since been released under investigation.
Mohammed Shaid, 26, of Arrow Road, Monzur Ahmed, 26, of Whitethorn Street, both in Bow and Foyzur Rahman, of Beveridge Mews, Stepney, are in custody charged with Mr Roper’s murder.
A man, aged 54, held on suspicion of assisting an offender has been released under investigation.
A 16-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man who were arrested and bailed on suspicion of Mr Roper’s murder have been released with no further action.
