Fashion show in aid of the NSPCC

EAST Enders-turned fashionista when they grabbed front row seats at a runway show to raise money for a children’s charity on Saturday.

Professional models strutted along a catwalk at The Gallery in Redchurch Street in Bethnal Green to raise cash for the NSPCC and onlookers were treated to live performances from British talent including a set from Jon Paul Palombo.

There was also a raffle in aid of the NSPCC with prizes from top brands including Vivienne Westwood, La Senza and Swarovski.

Margherita Russell, NSPCC community fundraising manager, said: “The money raised will help us to run services for children, young people and families such as ChildLine and Helpline, none of which would be possible without the continued generosity of donors, fundraisers and supporters.”

The show was aimed at giving something back to women who have faced difficult times as well as making them feel gorgeous inside and out.

Flavilla Fongang, director of 3 Colours Rule which organised the evening, said: “We aim to give something back to selected women who have faced difficult time in their lives but have overcome it and are stronger and now leading a more positive life.”
