WHAT a winning smile from Joelle Onabanjo who is East London’s gymnast champ in her year. The beaming 11-year-old from the Isle of Dogs became champion in the Year 5 and 6 Step 2 contest in the England Gymnastics Key Steps competition

WHAT a winning smile from Joelle Onabanjo who is East London's gymnast champ in her year.

The beaming 11-year-old from Cubitt Town Junior school on the Isle of Dogs became 'East London Boroughs' champion in the Year 5 and 6 Step 2 contest in the England Gymnastics Key Steps competition held at Beckton this week.

The young gymnasts had to perform two vaults, a body management routine and a floor exercise.

The full results and team scores are not available yet. but Joelle has already been declared winner in her year competition.
