Road closures after man hit by car in Mile End

A man has been rushed to hospital after he was hit by a car in Mile End today.

The pedestrian, who is believed to be in his 40s, was injured in the accident in Burdett Road, at the junction with Mile End Road, just after 10.30am.

Paramedics called to the scene rushed him to hospital where his condition is unknown.

There are currently road closures in place.
