A woman from Millwall has been charged with the murder of Italian man Pietro Sanna in Canning Town.

Hasna Begum, 25, of Byng Street, Millwall, is due to appear in custody at Thames Magistrates’ Court later today after being charged with Mr Sanna’s murder.

The Italian national, who lived in the UK, was knifed several times in Ravenscroft Close on Monday.

He died at the scene.
