FIVE-time Olympic swimmer Mark Foster will open a new back pain clinic in Canary Wharf.
The six-time world Champion and holder of 47 international medals will open the Freedom Back Clinic in the North Colonnade on Thursday.
Despite representing Great Britain more times than any other athlete and being more decorated than anyone else, Mark has suffered from back pain for much of his sporting career. He will have a massage or treatment on the day.
Practitioners will also be offering free spinal checks throughout the day for stressed-out workers.
Chief executive of Freedom Back Clinics, Diane McKerracher, said: “The official launch will enable anyone who has been having the smallest of twinges, or more serious aches or pains in their neck or back, to seek advice from our team and book themselves in for a free assessment if necessary.”
Eighty per cent of people will suffer with back problems over a lifetime, according to the clinic with the Wharf being a hotspot for back pain symptoms.
A man was given life-saving treatment by staff and punters at a Bow pub on Friday night after he was stabbed in a nearby street.
