This year’s Thames Gateway Business Awards ceremony, the highlight of the business calendar throughout east London and Essex, is taking place tonight.

The prestigious awards recognise and celebrate the achievements of individuals and businesses within London, and also give companies a chance to look ahead to the coming year.

On offer are 10 highly-coveted awards, including small, medium and large businesses of the year, a customer service award and Employer of the year.

An 11-strong team of judges with years of experience have selected their winners, and now all that remains is to find out who will claim each prize.

The event will be covered live on Twitter later this evening, with a full report of all the night’s action following online and in print next week.
