A housing association in the East End has been named as one of the top 100 not-for-profit organisations in the UK.

Tower Hamlets Community Housing (THCH) was given 69th place on the Sunday Times top 100 best not-for-profit organisations list.

Human resources manager Bridgett Bardwell said: “To be recognised as one of the top 100 best employers is a tremendous honour and a reflection of the loyalty and engagement of our employees.

“This award confirms that THCH staff are highly motivated and have finally get the recognition they deserve.”

The list was unveiled at a ceremony last month, following surveys asking employees how the organisation ranked in factors including leadership, personal growth, wellbeing, fairness and teamwork.
