Cycling grants to help London commuters switch to two wheels

Grants of up to £5,000 are being made available for London cycling projects to help people switch to pedal power.

The money can be for training, maintenance sessions, bike events and activities to encourage cycling.

Applications for the 26 grants from the Community Cycling Fund set up by TfL and run by the London Cycling Campaign are open from March 5 to 19.

Those eligible include schools, residents’ associations, mental health charities and youth organisations. Applications can be downloaded from Friday (24th) from www.lcc.org.uk
