New street art celebrating the cult hero of London 2012, Usain Bolt, has been appearing in Shoreditch and Brick Lane.
Street artist James Cochran, or “Jimmy C” as he is more commonly known, has made the biggest impression with a huge portrait of Jamaican 100m and 200m world record-holder Bolt on the side of a car park in Sclater Street.
The fastest man in history has become a cult figure ahead of the start of track and field events at London 2012, with fervour continuing to build.
Far right group the English Defence League has announced plans to march through Tower Hamlets this summer.
