LABOUR showed it was in charge in the London Assembly’s City & East constituency count last night with almost 34 per cent of the vote on the proportional representation Party List ballot. It polled 63,635, now added to Labour's lists from the other 13 Greater London constituencies to cdompete for the 11 London-wide seats on the Assembly. It was nearly double their closest rivals, the Conservatives, who managed 32,082 votes in City & East, just over 17 per cent....
