Tower Hamlets were held to a 2-2 draw against mid-table Sawbridgeworth Town last night.

Ade Abayomi and AJ Ashanike’s men clawed it back from conceding an early goal to only be pegged back after grabbing a 2-1 lead late on to earn a point at the Mile End Stadium.

After taking the lead the visitors saw Hamlets level through Kane Wilson before Montel Williams then gave the hosts the lead.

The Robins managed to level the match once again and make sure they left East London with something to show for their efforts.

The point takes the hosts up to seventh whilst Sawbo move up a place to 14th in the Essex Senior League.

Tower Hamlets: Pellin, McCarthy, Watson, Kenward, Odedoyin, Anthony, Wilson, Sinclair, Williams, Salmon, Furtado.

Subs: Ross, Montiero, Adama Bamba, Jairette, Ashanike.

Sawbridgeworth Town: Ponter, Buckland, Robinson, Deamer, O.Cleaver, Jelliman, Wickenden, Mays, Thomas, T.Cleaver, Orth.

Subs: Monk, Hunter, Wright, Watters.
