National League rivals to meet at Victoria Road on weekend of October 14

Dagenham & Redbridge will host National League rivals Leyton Orient in the fourth qualifying round of the FA Cup after the draw was made on Monday afternoon.

Along will all other clubs from the National League, Daggers and Orient entered the competition at the final qualifying round.

The two sides will meet for the first time this season at Victoria Road on the weekend of October 14.

Last season, Daggers progressed past Wealdstone in the fourth qualifying round to reach the first round proper, where they went out to Halifax Town following a replay.

Leyton Orient, meanwhile, entered the competition at the first round proper last season, but lost 6-0 at Sheffield United.

The winner of the fourth qualifying round tie stands to pocket £12,500 in prize money.

The last time O’s and Daggers met in the in the FA Cup was in the first round proper in the 2010-11 season.

After the initial tie at Victoria Road ended in a 1-1 draw, Orient won the replay 3-2 at Brisbane Road thanks to a Scott McGleish winner.
