Australian goalkeeper looks ahead to Bristol Rovers and hails effort of the fans at Brisbane Road

Leyton Orient goalkeeper Alex Cisak has warned that they need to play better against Bristol Rovers tomorrow (Saturday) than they did against Newport County last weekend.

Ian Hendon’s side kept up their perfect League Two record, but only after throwing a two-goal lead away at Rodney Parade.

Dean Cox scored a second-half winner for the O’s to keep them top of the table with four wins from four.

They will face a Rovers side in form at Brisbane Road, however, who have triumphed in their last three matches.

Cisak said: “It was quite a busy game for me at Newport but the most important thing was the three points and we take that into the next game on Saturday.

“We want to get another three points there again. We have definitely got to play a lot better against Bristol Rovers because it wasn’t good enough last weekend.

“It will be a tough game, but we have to keep playing like we have in our home games. We need to keep more clean sheets.

“That is one of the most important things, to keep a clean sheet, but also to play well and get the three points.”

Orient have yet to concede a goal at home this season, beating Barnet 2-0 on the opening day of the campaign before earning a 3-0 success against Stevenage recently.

They have been threatened, though, in both games therefore Cisak is expecting another difficult encounter at Brisbane Road.

He hopes the fans are on side again in E10 and admitted the supporters in the first match of the season with Barnet were brilliant.

Cisak added: “The atmosphere for that first game was really good and the fans have been on our side since the start of the season, which is brilliant.

“Obviously at Dagenham and at Newport they travelled well. I think with our home games as long as we have got the fans on our side and pushing us it can make your game slightly easier.

“It can put the other team on the back foot as well. We want that to keep happening and to get more wins at home and more clean sheets because we will make it a fortress that way.

“We should be able to go into this Bristol Rovers fixture fresh and hopefully get another three points with a much better performance than we put in against Newport.”
