Double training for Liverani’s players?

O’s players aren’t on holiday yet as the club remains silent on various issues
The season may be over for Leyton Orient supporters, but that hasn’t prevented the club making headline news since they were relegated to League One on May 3.
All sorts of reports have come out regarding the Brisbane Road outfit and the O’s are yet to release a statement about the future of Fabio Liverani either.
Last week, the Evening Standard reported president Francesco Becchetti was considering putting the club up for sale, while it has also been suggested that Orient could have a transfer embargo imposed this summer for the late filing of their accounts for the 2013/14 campaign.
The club have refused to comment, however, on these reported issues leaving fans among others frustrated.
In addition to this, the future of boss Liverani is yet to be sorted. The Italian suggested he would have a meeting with Becchetti last week, but it isn’t known if that has occurred yet.
The O’s manager did go back to Italy over the weekend and missed training on Monday, but has returned now.
The players haven’t been able to go on holiday, though, with several revealing on Twitter that they have been in for double sessions despite the league season concluding on May 3.
Shaun Batt and Mathieu Baudry have confirmed they are in for double training, while various other players have hinted at the same.
Although relegation to League Two was a huge disappointment, and the players deserve their share of the blame, what will double training do now?
Unfortunately O’s continue to make news and not the type they would like.
