Kevin Lisbie looks to have played his last game for Leyton Orient.

The 36-year-old striker posted a message on his Instagram page, saying: “Going to miss all the boys at Orient we had some good times together, but time to start a new chapter.”

Jamaican international Lisbie has been restricted to just eight appearances this season, due to a lengthy absence with a shoulder injury, and netted in wins at Oldham and Yeovil.

But he formed a productive partnership with David Mooney last season, as the pair fired O’s to a promotion play-off final appearance at Wembley.

Russell Slade’s side lost to Rotherham on penalties, after letting a 2-0 lead slip, and the club have struggled to find consistency under new Italian owners this term.

After Slade moved to Cardiff, Kevin Nugent had a brief spell as interim manager, before Mauro Milanese took over the reins.

Fabio Liverani was then installed as Orient’s fourth boss of the season and handed Lisbie a start against Notts County last month, when he played the full 90 minutes in a 1-0 defeat.

Lisbie, who played for Charlton, Colchester and Ipswich earlier in his career, has not played since February 10, but has made 125 league and cup appearances for Orient, netting 48 times.
