The O’s head coach has some nice tough decisions to make ahead of the visit of 10th-placed Bromley

For the first time in a while a Leyton Orient manager has some genuine selection headaches to ponder ahead of today’s match.

Bromley are the visitors to Brisbane Road this afternoon looking to stop O’s winning five games in a row in all competitions for the first time since August 2015.

Orient go into their last match of 2017 after defeating Haringey Borough, Sutton United, Maidstone United and Dagenham & Redbridge in recent weeks.

The appointment of Justin Edinburgh has had the desired effect and the 48-year-old has some decisions to make for the visit of the Ravens.

Bondz N’Gala’s loan from Dagenham had expired by the time John Still’s side came to Brisbane Road, but the defender wouldn’t have been eligible to play anyway.

Dan Happe stepped in to fill the void and once again demonstrated his growing reputation with a solid performance.

N’Gala has since rejoined the O’s on loan and Edinburgh must now decide whether he sticks with Happe or recalls the ex-Barnet centre back.

Further up the pitch, David Mooney produced one of his better displays on Tuesday during the 2-0 victory over Dagenham.

The experienced forward was bright, worked hard and looked back to his old self, but his replacement Matt Harrold also performed well.

It means Edinburgh must decide again whether he sticks with Mooney or give a starting role to Harrold.

Four players who definitely will not be involved this afternoon are Aron Pollock, Charley Barker, Rian McLean and Ruel Sotiriou.

Pollock has joined Bostik Premier side Leatherhead on a 28-day loan while Barker and McLean have linked up with Wingate & Finchley and Margate respectively on work experience loans.

Sotirou has switched to Heybridge Swifts, of the Bostik North, on a work experience loan as well and all four will hope to feature for their new clubs this weekend.
