French midfielder ready for Peterborough test

Romain Vincelot says Leyton Orient do not have to fear anyone as they battle for survival in League One.

O’s head to Peterborough on Saturday, still one point adrift of safety after a 3-1 home loss to leaders Bristol City in midweek.

But having won 2-0 at Walsall at the weekend, for their third success in four outings, Frenchman Vincelot says there is new belief in the Brisbane Road ranks.

He said: “We are quite good away, in a situation we don’t really care who we play against.

“We know them quite well. We respect everyone, but we just take care of ourselves because we know if we play at the top of our game, we don’t have to fear anyone.

“We’re going to look forward to this game away. We’re not thinking ‘one point’. Any game now we go to win.

“There is not too much
mathematics, every game is about getting the best result we can. We can’t say we planned to lose (against Bristol City), there is no mathematics in the situation.

“It’s just about one game at a time and give everything because we’re really enjoying the fact we are lifiting ourselves.”

Boss Fabio Liverani had the luxury of naming Orient’s first unchanged side of the season in midweek, but may be forced to tink against Posh.

He said: “We have Thursday and Friday to prepare the game for Peterborough, but for us there might be some slight changes. I’m convinced with there performances we are on the right track.”
