West Ham United head to Liverpool, with two of the Premier League’s most inconsistent teams set to do battle.

Last weekend, the Hammers looked all set for a win at London rivals Crystal Palace, before a second-half capitulation at Selhurst Park.

Dagenham & Redbridge have a weekend off competitive action having already been knocked out of the FA Cup.

John Still’s men suffered a frustrating 1-1 draw at Maidenhead United last weekend to continue their own inconsistent form.

Leyton Orient knocked Daggers out of the cup and their reward is a trip to League One side Gillingham on Saturday.

Steve Davis’ side twice came from a goal down to restore parity in a 2-2 at Wrexham last time out and will look to show those resilient qualities again if needed.

All this, plus the latest non-league news, including Bostk North outfit Barking’s link up Arsenal, is discussed on this week’s East London Football podcast.

Host Matt Withers is joined by Dave Evans and Ned Keating in the studio, with George Sessions taking part in a rare phone-in on the podcast.
