We all thought that the last ever match between West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur at Upton Park would be played out on Wedneday, March 2, when the Premier League title hopefuls arrive, but it transpires that there will be another clash between the two clubs under the lights the following week.

The development team and the under-18s have both graced the Boleyn Ground turf this season, but now it is the turn of West Ham Ladies to stride out there when they take on Tottenham Ladies on Tuesday, March 8.

Ladies joint chairman Stephen Hunt has worked hard with the main club to get the match arranged.

“We are delighted to have managed to put this game on at Upton Park,” he said. “It’s always a special game under the lights and it’s another opportunity for fans to experience this great stadium.

“Women’s football is becoming fiercely competitice and I can’t wait to see our players perform on the biggest of stages. We have kept the prices the same as our normal league matches and West Ham ladies season tickets are valid for this game.”

Tickets are proced at £5 for adults and £1 for kids for the match, which kicks off at 7.45pm and West Ham are keen to see as many fans there on the night to give the ladies some support.
