London Raiders began the 2016/17 ice hockey season with a 4-2 loss at Invicta Dynamos in the National League Cup.

Marek Nahlik put them ahead after only 42 seconds, before Nicky Lewis levelled for the home side.

And Nahlik netted his second in the middle session, only for Adam Rehak to reply for Dynamos and set up a tense final session.

Rehak then put Invicta 3-2 up, with Haydn Wootton completing the scoring late on, but there were plenty of positives to take from the London Raiders point of view.

Jacob Ranson looks at some of those points in the first of a new regular video series for the season.
