VETERAN politician and anti-war campaigner Tony Benn answers questions from a live audience when a new film he features in is premiered in London's East End next week.

The 70min documentary Not in Our Name is being premiered at Mile End's Genesis cinema on November 19.

It explores the response of artists to the war in Iraq and Afghanistan and took East London film-makers Hazuan Hashim and Phil Maxwell six years to put in the can.

Peace campaigners from around the world feature in the film along with the former Labour minister from Harold Wilson's 1960s Labour Government. It also has footage from around the world, including Iraq and the USA.

The film is followed by a question-and-answer session with Tony Benn and the directors.
