TEAMS have their tricycles at the ready to battle it out to win Sunday's ambitiously-titled 'Shoreditch Grand Prix' (August 31).

Around 30 teams of three each who managed to raise the most sponsorship are racing five laps on kids' fun-sized tricycles for the charity or social enterprise of their choice.

Music by Last.fm is provided to excite spectators. Five of the trikes designed by artists are also up for auction on eBay.

The fun kicks off at 11am at Hitchcock Memorial on the corner of Leonard-street, near the Old Street roundabout. (Tube: Old St).
