chris sawyer's previous games include Transport Tycoon and Rollercoaster Tycoon, so his gaming pedigree is top notch. Unfortunately, the same can't be said about this budget re-release. Despite Sawyer insisting

the game is "the spiritual successor to Transport Tycoon" it fails to match the quality of its illustrious predecessor. The premise is simple: you run a transport company and have to run the transportation infrastructure of a bustling city or country in 40 pre-set creating a vast network of trains, buses, trams, trucks, aircraft and ships that all interconnect. It's certainly no easy task running an integrated transport system - just ask Ken Livingstone - but the game complicates things with a fiddly interface and awful graphics.
