This fiendishly difficult strategy role-playing game pits your band of warriors against a fantastical array of enemy combatants. It's like a gigantic game of chess with each character capable of a variety of different moves and counter-moves as they move across a grid-like map. Its combat system is based on rock-paperscissors so the game's three major weapons - swords, axes and lances - all have their own strengths and weaknesses. To muddy things further there are other weapons, such as knives and bows, which are unaffected by these principal weapons as well as a set of magical attacks. Units are chosen from a roster of heroes, but lose one of your men in combat and they won't be coming back. Ever. One for hardcore strategy fans only.
