Trevor Henry, 52, has owned Trevors Taxis for the last 18 years.
He owns 32 black cabs and has been a mechanic all his life.
WHAT DOES YOUR JOB INVOLVE?
A lot of stress and headaches! I'm a taxi proprietor, which means I buy, rent and repair taxis.
I have four staff working for me and I work from 8.30am to 5.30pm (at least).
In the morning I get the cabs out and I give out the work to the mechanics.
I'll decide who is driving which car, and I'll collect the weekly rent from the drivers.
I also work on repairing the cars myself.
WHERE ARE YOU FROM?
I live on my own in my own house in Eastham. I've lived in East London for the last twenty years - before that I was in South London. I was born in St Lucia and came to London in 1969.
WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT THE EAST END?
Life here is easier and there are fewer hassles than in South London.
It's not as rough and there are fewer problems with gangs, and the people are a lot friendlier. The East End has a calmer feel.
And the traffic isn't too bad.
WHAT DON'T YOU LIKE ABOUT THE EAST END?
What's not to like?
Well, I guess the rubbish - more could be done to clean it up.
And sometimes the traffic wardens hassle me about parking the cabs out the back.
WHAT DO YOU DO TO RELAX?
I sit down and watch telly, or I play with my two kids, Tiana, 6, and Brendan, 11.
I also like playing Mario Brothers, my favourite computer game.
WHAT ARE YOU DOING ON THE WEEKEND?
Paperwork - as usual!
I'm also taking my kids to see The Lion King in the West End.
