TRAPEZE artists and burlesque dancers will invade Brick Lane's 93 Feet East for an evening of alternative music with a twist on tonight (Saturday).

Kicking off the evening are the up and coming bands Hindley and Who By Gun who will bring the audience alternative-indie, followed by five-piece Danny Valentine and the Meditations.

Drummer-vocalist Grandmaster Ash will lead his Birmingham-based band The Black and Reds before East End flamencobilly-garage-folk trio the Bridport Dagger Take to the stage ahead of pop noir specialists televised Crimewave.

Finally The Brute Chorus will chuck out shouty scuzz pop, melding surf guitars with duck whistles, drum rolls and cowbells.

Throughout the night audience members can expect acts from Circa Burlesque performers, including stilt walking from Little Bo Freak, fan dancing from Chrys Columbine burlesque from Slinky Sparkles and a trapeze act from Lydia Darling.

Tickets for The Playground vs Circa Burlesque cost £7 on the door. The evening starts at 5pm and runs until 1am.
