THE music of Benjamin Britten is ringing out at Wilton’s Music Hall in London’s East End tonight (August 28). Famous songs including his first collection for voice and piano, On This Island, set to poems by WH Auden

THE music of Benjamin Britten is ringing out at Wilton's Music Hall in London's East End tonight (August 28).

Famous songs including his first collection for voice and piano, On This Island, set to poems by WH Auden, are being performed by young tenor Andrew Staples, a member of the Benjamin Britten International Opera School.

The evening is being presented by Transition Projects from 7.30pm to 8.45pm, including live video and film by Netia Jones.
