In one of the strangest videogame collaborations ever, Sonic The Hedgehog has joined forces with the makers of such excellent sci-fi role-playing games as Mass Effect and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. The result is a new Sonic role-playing game

In one of the strangest videogame collaborations ever, Sonic The Hedgehog has joined forces with the makers of such excellent sci-fi role-playing games as Mass Effect and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. The result is a new Sonic role-playing game called Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood, due for release later this year. Quite how a character designed for basic arcade games will adapt to the turn-based battles of an RPG remains a mystery for the moment and we'd be no more shocked if we'd heard that Alfred Hitchcock had been dug up to direct the new Britney Spear's video.
