Sonic The Hedgehog's sole reason to exist is that he can run at super-fast speeds. Zero Gravity isn't concerned with such trivial details and instead places him on a hoverboard.

Unfortunately the game's control system is rather unwieldy requiring you to push forward on a stick to accelerate and thereby making left/right movement inconsiderately awkward. The 'gravity' element comes from the unusual way you can make sharp turns by holding a button, rotating your board and then firing it off in your chosen direction. It makes for some interesting gravitybased cornering, but the game gives you few corners that require such fancy manoeuvres. The result is a series of uninspiring courses that even hardcore fans of the prickly blue rodent will cringe at.
