While we loved the first Highlander film - especially the mullets, sword fighting and the Queen soundtrack - its impact has been dulled over the years by a succession of dire sequels and an equally preposterous TV series. That said, Eidos hopes to breathe new life into the ailing franchise later this year with the release of a Highlander game for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. It's going to be a third-person action adventure and feature characters from all five films as a new MacLeod clan member has to battle a succession of rival Immortals, both new and old.
