Plans have been uncovered for a new family neighbourhood on the Olympic site in east London.
The scheme for 1,000 new homes and parkland at Chobham Farm, near Hackney Wick, have been submitted this week to the Olympic Delivery Authority by East Thames Group and London & Continental Railways.
It follows public consultations earlier this year for the area near the Olympic Village and Westfield Stratford City.
But changes have been made since the consultations before being was submitted to the planning authority—such as increasing the proportion of family homes and the number of homes with their own roof terrace overlooking the park as well as more public streets connecting the development to nearby neighbourhoods.
