The cultural boss of London 2012 has landed a job as programmes chief of the City of London’s Bishopsgate Institute now the Olympics are over.
Francesca Canty has been appointed Director of Programmes by the institute’s Board of Trustees to “open minds, challenge perceptions and enrich lives through inspired public programmes.”
She starts in the new job in December after her current role ends as London 2012’s cultural programmes and partnerships manager making sure the Games leave a positive legacy.
