MEMBERS of the Territorials celebrated 100 years of service at a pageant in front of Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall.
The pageant re-enacted the history of Britain's 'reserve' force, with pivotal moments from 1908 onward, through two world wars and the conflicts since which have involved Britain as a peace-keeping force.
More than 1,000 Territorials took part in the colourful march past, in front of 6,000 spectators in Horse Guards Parade who included serving TA members, veterans, families, friends and employers.
Among the marching ranks were TA members from East London and 'guest' contingents from Allied forces in the Commonwealth and the USA.
